Hum is a self-improving coding agent for your terminal. Built for long-running async work.
Install

Start
cd your-repo
hum
The first run signs you in. See the Quickstart.
What it does
- Plans, edits files, runs commands in a local sandbox.
- Keeps working after you close the terminal.
hum resumebrings you back. - Asks you when a decision is yours. Away, it takes the default and the question waits.
- Runs unattended with
hum run "task". - Reads
AGENTS.mdat the root and in any folder, plus skills, hooks and MCP servers you already have. - Runs on the models we route or on a host you name.
- Knows its own docs. Ask it what it can do or how a setting works; it reads these pages before answering.
